Email Client Software and Installation Instructions

The following email client software is provided by KU to you as a KU faculty, staff or currently-enrolled student for use with the KU email system on a University-owned computer and/or a home computer that you own or lease. You must uninstall this software immediately from your home computer upon leaving the University.

You can also use other email programs to access your Exchange email via IMAP.

If you do not wish to install software, you may access your email on the web at http://owa.ku.edu.

Online download for fast Internet connections

• Entourage 2004 for Apple Mac OS X 10.2.8 or later 
• Outlook 2003 for Windows 
• Outlook 2002 for Windows 
• Outlook 2000 for Windows 

Alternatives for slow Internet connections (dial-up)

• Install Entourage 2004 for Apple Mac OS X 10.2.8 or later from a KU CD 
• Install Outlook 2003 for Windows from a KU CD
• Install Outlook 2000 for Windows from a KU CD
• Use IMAP to connect to KU Exchange email
